What to do if you need to speak to us.......
are keen to work in partnership with parents so communication is very important
to us. There are many different ways we try to keep you informed such as:
Termly Parents Evenings or Reporting Days;
Regular Newsletters (we aim for fortnightly);
Opportunities to meet with class teachers (Mondays after school);
Parent Mail communication (a sign-up service to receive information via
email or text);
Via our Year Group Notice Boards where all recent letters and posters
Publicising pupil targets to families;
Using Home School Reading Logs;
Via our annual consultation with all parents when we review our
School Development Plan.
would like an appointment with your child's teacher on a Monday, please enquire
at the school office, or speak directly to the class teacher to book a
slot. However, if you need to speak to someone urgently please do not
hesitate to let your child's teacher know or come straight to the school office
where Mrs Gurr, our Headteacher, will always speak to you if she is free.
You are also welcome to send in any urgent message via a written note to your
child's teacher. Additional copies of letters and flyers are available
from the blue holder adjacent to the school office hatch. Please just help
there be an occasion when you feel you need to raise an issue or a complaint we
will always be happy to listen to you and try to resolve the situation. Please
speak to your child's class teacher in the first instance, or directly with our
